Winnipeg Music Festival Winners!
The Maples Collegiate Chamber Choir was awarded the J.S. Little Trophy for the most outstanding folk song sung by a school chorus Grades 5-12.
The Maples Collegiate Senior Choir received the "Camerata Nova Bursary" for the most outstanding early music selection, as well as the "Wednesday Morning Musicale" award, The Earl Grey Trophy which is given to the school with the most outstanding choral performance, Grades 5-12, and the Lieutenant Governor's Trophy, for the most outstanding performance (solo, or group, any category) in the Winnipeg Musical Festival. This honour has only been awarded to a choir 4 times in the last 20 years. Well done students and Ms. Dyck and Mr. Lapatha!
