The Brand New West Kildonan Collegiate is Officially Unveiled

The first two words that came to mind for many of those attending the official grand opening of the newly constructed West Kildonan Collegiate were likely, “At last!”

The new $17.6 million school is a dream come true for everyone who has been waiting to walk the halls of the finished building – and even more so for those who had been waiting for the doors to open since a feasibility study was first conducted back in 1998.

It was indeed a night to celebrate, and guests turned out in droves to see what many were calling “the finest public school facility in Manitoba.”
