Maples Collegiate is the Seven Oaks School Division's largest high school with approximately 1200 students attending Senior 1 to Senior 4. As the largest school, Maples is able to offer a variety of courses and programs to meet the wide-ranging needs of our students. Students working toward their high school graduation can choose either a traditional academic route or explore vocational and alternative options.
Maples is well known for its caring and dedicated staff. They work closely with each student, treating every one as an individual member of a vibrant learning community. Maples Collegiate is home to a unique and successful program of teacher advisory and self-directed days that enrich all students' high school experiences as well as help them develop responsibility and ownership for their learning.The school proudly offers a variety of extra-curricular activities where students can develop skills and friendships beyond the regular school day. In addition to our champioship sports teams, we have an outstanding performing arts program as well as student leadership opportunities. Maples students are provided with challenging learning opportunities, chances to intereact with their community as volunteers, and guidance to plan future goals and careers. We are proud of our students' achievements and keep in touch with our grads through an active alumni association.
In addition to our regular high school programs, we also offer Co-operative Vocational Education (CVE) to students who have completed Senior 3. These students can work toward high school graduation while gaining work experience in the following fields: aviation trades and technology, culinary services, hospitality services, health care aide or material fabrication/auto body.
