We
are hosting an exciting and active event call Students @ Play
at Kildonan Park on September 25 and 26, 2006 (rain date September
27, 2006).
This
event is bringing together over 7, 000 community participants
including students, staff, volunteers, businesses, sports
associations and the general public. The students will be
involved in activity-based sessions from 9:30 – 2:15.
Students in grades 6 to 8 will participate on September 25
while Preschool to grade 5 will be on September 26.
This Seven Oaks School Division event is being supported by
Seven Oaks Healthy Living (CDPI), Seven Oaks Neighbourhood
Resource Network, in motion, Manitoba Sports Associations,
and Trek
the Trails.
Trek
the Trails is doing a walk on both days from 12:00 –
1:00 with community participants from Kildonan Medical, Seven
Oaks Hospital, Senior’s Fitness Bus and the Wellness
Institute.
We
would like to invite you to join us at our active community
event. You are welcome to visit, participate in the sessions,
and/or walk with the community. We look forward to your response.

would like presenters to bring their equipment to the event.
