Our tutors are the folks on the ground – the passionate, engaging subject matter experts who work with students for a minimum of two hours per week throughout the school year.
We ask that our tutors are interested in helping students build study skills, reinforcing knowledge and skills, and assisting students with daily homework and test preparation – you just have to be an expert in at least one core subject (math, science, language arts or social studies).
Tutoring sessions are help outside regular school hours, six days a week.
Tutoring schedules will coincide with the regular school year, but our volunteer schedule will be flexible enough to accommodate your other seasonal plans and commitments.
Contact the Wayfinders Program Office for more information on volunteering at 204-631-5849 ext 3265.
