Advanced Digital Camera Usage 
Do you have a good digital camera? You know how to use the automatic settings, but you know your camera is capable of far more. This is the class for you. Get out of automatic and learn some of the more advanced digital camera settings including: how to get images properly into focus, learn the difference between JPG and RAW and why you might want to choose one over the other, learn what aperture and shutter speed are and when and why you might want to use them, learn to use full manual and why, learn complicated techniques like exposure compensation and histograms, learn what ISO is and how to make it work for you. This class will help you go from snap shots to photographs that make you proud. You can take control of your images and make the camera work for you. Lessons are hands on and advanced digital camera or digital SLR is recommended.

Basic Residential Plumbing
This six week course will address topics such as: plumbing tools of the trade (safety practices), measuring and reading schematics (including building codes), installation of sinks, toilets, showers, faucets, ice machines, etc. basic DWV (drain, waste, vent) systems and unclogging drains safely. We will also address troubleshooting plumbing problems. soldering and non-soldering techniques for copper tubing, pex lines and pipe freezing prevention.

This is an advanced level class. Welcome to the French Corner where you decide what you want to discuss. Every week bring a topic and we`ll chat away, with French music in the background. Cendrine Marrouat, a French-born Winnipegger, will be there to correct errors and answer your questions. Jokes are recommended.

This class is for anyone interested in visiting France. Whether it is the food, sights, historic monuments, beaches or mountains, France has something for everyone. Before you pack your bags to take the trip of a lifetime, join us for this series of seven classes with a French-born Winnipegger. Learn important words, phrases and sentences to get around on your own in daily situations (asking for help, asking for directions, speaking on the phone, booking train tickets, code of the road…). Discover the main cultural differences between Canada and France. And get familiar with some of the must-see places to visit.

Do you have a neighbor who speaks Punjabi? Now is your opportunity to learn some of this language. Learning a foreign language is an incredibly rewarding experience. People can understand each other and language helps us connect with people from other countries. We will practice and learn important words, phrases and sentences used in daily language including greetings, conversations, cultural knowledge, beliefs and celebration in Punjabi culture (weddings, etc.).

Babysitter Safety Training Course
Adventures in Babysitting! An instructional course on the basics of babysitting to include age characteristics, emergency procedures, role playing situations, parent expectations and much more to assist in preparation for babysitting. Each participant will receive a certificate and handbook after completion. Ages 12 – 15. 100% attendance mandatory.
