Consumer Math allows the student to be mathematically literate not only in their work lives but in their personal lives as well. Additionally students will understand how math permeates daily life, business, industry and government. Topics covered include; problem analysis, games analysis, personal finance, design and measurement government finances, statistics, investigative project, life/career project taxation, variation and formulas, and finally completing a portfolio. This course will satisfy university entrance requirements not involving further math or science related subjects.
