Transactional language gives special emphasis to getting things done. Getting things done, however, requires that we understand ourselves and how we communicate with others.

The course is divided into five sequences where the first three sequences provide an overview of the communication process, highlight important electronic communication tools, and explore issues of community and conflict in a global context.
