A Bright Futures Program

2008/09 Program Eligibility Requirements

1. Student's Age: (one of)

• In grade 9 for 2008/09 school year and/or
• Born before Dec. 31, 1994 or 14 years of age by Dec. 31, 2008

2. Your family income (after tax on your 2007 Income Tax Return)should be described by one of the following:

• Less then or equal to $21,541 (after tax) with a family unit of at least 2 people
• Less then or equal to $27,210 (after tax) with a family unit of at least 3 people
• Less then or equal to $33,946 (after tax) with a family unit of at least 4 people
• Less then or equal to $38,655 (after tax) with a family unit of at least 5 people
• Less then or equal to $42,869 (after tax) with a family unit of at least 6 people
• Less then or equal to $47,084 (after tax) with a family unit of 7 people or more

3. Year One of this program is limited to students who live in the following two areas of Winnipeg:

Elwick postal codes and at 130-140 Watson Street or Lord Selkirk Park area postal codes.
