The agenda book is an important means of communication between school and home.
I check your child's agenda every morning for communications from you. At the end of the day I check students’ recording of information such as homework assignments, field trip dates, special functions during or after school, and due dates for things such as permission slips, Scholastic Book Club orders, fundraising monies, etc. I then initial the space for that day.
Similarly, it would be appreciated if you review your child's agenda every evening and also initial the space for that day. I strongly recommend that you and your child develop the habit of reviewing the agenda every evening (not in the morning when things are often hectic enough!). There will be times when there is nothing important (or nothing at all!) to look at, but you don't want to miss seeing an important reminder.
The front pages of the agenda book contain the Margaret Park School Handbook which outlines school policies and other important information. Please take some time to review the handbook section with your child.
