WELCOME TO Mr. Krahn's Web Site
I'm guessing you arrived for a reason...
Curious?
Looking for ways to get more out of school and improve?
School not going so well?
Rather than start by talking about attendance, let's start by looking at what it means to be into school and doing the right things while in school.
Lots of things about school are organized, routine and predictable. Students and staff have schedules and these usually last through the semester and for most don't get changed. That means we know where to go and at what time pretty much every day. Having part of your life be organized and predictable is not a bad thing as lots of other things are out of our control.
One of the ways to keep up with what's happening in your classes is to develop good habits. Sure there are bad habits like always being late or swearing continually or over-reacting but it's not that hard to develop a few good habits that'll help you get into what's happening in classes and learn some things that are interesting and useful.
What are some examples of good habits that'll help you as a student?
Once you've thought about these let's talk and see where we agree or disagree. These habits are part of you learning to discipline and control yourself which is more and more the most important thing as you grow up.
Once we've talked about these good habits we can plan together and find out ways that teachers and support people can help from the outside.
Thanks for visiting. It's the beginning of you taking responsibility. I look forward to talking to you again. Check out the other pages of this site. Just click up top!
