Brrrr...... Can you believe that winter is just around the corner?

We have been studying about 3D solids in Math. We are getting very good at identifying all of the shapes by their attributes.

Our Halloween party will be on Oct. 31st in the afternoon. All of the children are welcome to dress up that day for our school dance which will raise money for Unicef. We will have a parade and treats in our room after that! YUM!

In November we will study about peace around the world. Our class will create some lovely art work to be displayed at our Remembrance Day assembly on Nov. 10th. We hope that many parents will attend this important assembly

3-way conferences will take place on November 20 and 21st. The children have been working hard on their portfolios and self-evaluations. I hope to meet with all the families that week.
