Truth & Reconciliation Week is Sept. 21-25, 2026 and September 30th is Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (wear Orange on Sept. 29&30) . It’s a time to remember the children who never returned home and to honour Survivors and their families. Reconciliation is rooted in the courage to listen, the humility to acknowledge past and ongoing harms, and an unwavering commitment to upholding the truth while confronting denialism in all forms. Seven Oaks School Division stands in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples today and every day, committing to the essential, ongoing work of truth-telling and meaningful reconciliation.
