​Welcome to École Rivière-Rouge Community School!

I am extremely honored to be the Principal of École Rivière-Rouge Community School.  The past few months have been very busy and have given me the opportunity to be working with our Superintendents, Divisional Staff, Architects, Builders, and the Daycare.

With enthusiasm we have been bringing together a great staff that will make a wonderful teaching team. They are excited to be part of this unique opportunity to begin meeting with our future students and their families.

We also had the opportunity to meet many of our youngest students and their parents at our Kindergarten Information evening held in February.

We look forward to working to ensure that we create the best milieu learning environment possible for the students and families of Rivière-Rouge. We know that students growth and development is best nurtured when we all work together.

Working together, we will get to know each other and develop an environment where each of us, children and adults, feel comfortable to take risks and make École Rivière-Rouge the best school possible!

As we know, students learn in a variety of ways. My vision is to explore and implement many approaches, including inquiry based learning, differentiated instruction, and project based learning, hands on learning, outdoor learning classrooms and the Arts including music, dance and visual art.

We will be implementing the Balanced School Day.  The school day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. Kindergarten mornings are 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and afternoons are 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our temporary office is located at Unit 2 - 2536 Main Street in the Sunova Business Centre.
