Dear École Rivière-Rouge Families,
The annual Festival du Voyageur is just around the corner!
On Thursday, February 22nd, we are going to celebrate the Festival all day with some fun indoor and outdoor voyageur-themed activities for the students.
We are in need of some parent volunteers!
In the next two weeks, we will need some volunteers who would be interested in coming to the school and preparing some of the materials needed for the activities.
We are also looking for some parent volunteers who would be interested in running a station on February 22nd. You would not have to stay all day long, (but if you could, that would also be appreciated). Coming for just the morning or just the afternoon would also be a possibility.
We would ask you to come dressed for either an indoor or outdoor activity, depending on what the needs are that day.
If you are interested, please call or email Mme Kristin Chartrand (Kristin.chartrand@7oaks.org), let her know what you would like to volunteer for and she will put you on the list of volunteers. Then you will be contacted a few days prior to the Festival day. If you are interested in preparing some of the materials, please let Mme Chartrand know and we will get everything ready for you to work on, at school or at home.
