The WKC SWAT team has been recognized for their efforts in educating the students in Manitoba about the health issues associated with tobacco. The have won the following awards:

• Addictions Foundation of Manitoba
• Premier’s Award
• Mantra Award

The S.W.A.T. team is making a tangible difference and has been recognized for their efforts from the Minister of Healthy Living, the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, Manitoba Lung Association. In 2005/2006, they received the Youth In Action Award and Award of Merit.
