Our support team works in collaboration with all school personnel including classroom teachers, educational assistants, and administrators to ensure that inclusive learning environments are created and diverse needs are met.
Our learning support teachers liaise with divisional clinicians such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language specialists and social workers to help provide appropriate educational programming for all.
Our guidance counsellors will help students navigate various middle school topics such as self-esteem, friendships, family, grief and loss, divorce, academic concerns, stress, anxiety, and future careers.
At times Leila’s support team work with outside agencies and other schools. Most importantly though, the support staff at Leila work directly with students, teachers, and their families at Leila North.
