Come join us at the K – 4 Arts Experience Tent!

This year our communal art piece will be a celebration of the nature that surrounds us.

Students will be invited to look closely at insects and birds that are an important part of our environment and ecosystem. We will sketching and creating representations of creatures on clear canvases that we will hang from branches to create nature mobiles. We will also be creating hanging window decorations that we will offer to people in the community to help keep birds from flying into windows. All art made in the tent will remain at the site until the end of arts in the park. Each classroom that participates will be sent a selection of window decorations to hand out to community members in your neighbourhood.

This creative Arts in the Park experience, which may include sketching, exploring colour with markers on clear canvas, sculpting with wire and exploring how insects and birds support our ecosystem. As this is a communal art project please be aware that we will not be creating individual pieces to bring home.
