West Kildonan Collegiate presents Anne Frank A History For Today

April 25, 2017

The exhibit will be open to the public May 9th and 16th from 4:00-8:00 and May 27th from 12:00-2:00 at West Kildonan Collegiate.  In addition students and staff will have access to the exhibit during the day.  Anne Frank became a fugitive on July 6th, 1942 and with her family was hidden away in a secret factory annex in Amsterdam. During her two years of hiding, Anne kept a diary, which has survived to become powerful symbol of a young girl’s optimism and vision for a better world as she came of age in a time of terror. Her story is the experience of a young Jewish girl, growing up within the inhumanity of the Holocaust.  Come experience the exhibit!
