Indigenous studies offers all learners, both indigenous and non-indigenous, the opportunity to enhance their understanding and appreciation of cultures and traditions, as well as the contemporary realities and aspirations of First Nations, Metis and Inuit cultures in Manitoba, Canada and the world. This course is designed as a multi-disciplinary course that allows learners to explore and develop skills and concepts in the Arts, ELA, Geography, History, Social Studies and Law.
