Want to participate in the fundraisers?

Each year Garden City Collegiate students have the opportunity to participate in fundraising campaigns that span the school year. Families can choose to fund raise in any or all of the options. All fundraising profits are held in student accounts to be used for school trips and activities, athletic team equipment, fees and tournaments, Grad wear, photos dinner-dance tickets, and even GC Gopher Hole merchandise! 

To participate in the fundraisers, students are to see Mrs. Lubkey in room W209. 

How do I get involved? 

1. Check out the fundraising bulletin board outside of room W209 or on the school website. 
2. Choose the campaign(s) you’d like to participate in & pick up the items/order forms from Mrs. Lubkey in room W209 at the posted start date. 
3. SELL, SELL, SELL! 
4. Return your orders/ payments to Mrs. Lubkey by the campaign’s end date.

#1 - Farm To School Veggie Bundles:   Sep 8 to 27 2026

The Farm To School Veggie Bundles is the first fundraiser of the school year.  This fundraiser supports Manitoba farmers by selling their farm fresh vegetables.  All veggie bundles are purchased online from www.peakfarmtoschool.com.  Your students' supporters need to select Garden City Collegiate and correctly spell the student's name and grade for profits to be correctly assigned.

Choose from two options:  Veggie Bundle A - $20 (2 lbs carrots, 10 lbs red potatoes and 2 lbs yellow cooking onions) or Veggie Bundle B - $30 (3 lbs carrots, 15 lbs red potatoes, 3 lbs yellow cooking onions, 1 lb parsnips and 1 head of green cabbage).

Delivery is just before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, October 7th between 2:30 and 4:30 pm in the Commons.

2 - Kernel's Popcorn, Instacake Cards & Cake & Fundscrip Gift Card Fundraiser: Nov. 4 to Nov.18th, 2026

All Orders will be Delivered to School for pick up on or before Thursday, Dec.10th between 3:30 & 4:00 pm.

Kernel's Popcorn Fundraiser: Deadline by 2:30pm Nov.18 - money & orders

• Individual bags sell for $3 each - student profit is $1.35/bag for seasoned flavours and $1.25/bag for caramel; 
  • each foil bag holds ~3 cups of popcorn and is sealed for freshness
  • 9 delicious flavours to choose from (Buttersalt, Salt & Vinegar, White Cheese, Dill Pickle, Ketchup, Say Cheese Cheese, Jalapeno Jack, Thai Sweet Chili delete, Cheesy Dill, Creamy Caramel)
  • Each bag also has a 2 for 1 coupon on the bag for added value!
• Party Bags sell for $50 each - student profit is $5.40/party bag
  • each party bag holds ~100 cups of popcorn and is sealed for freshness
  • flavours to choose from (Buttersalt, Salt & Vinegar, Whalin White Cheese, Dilled Out, Kickin' Ketchup, Say Cheese Cheese, Jalapeno Jack, Thai Sweet Chili delete, Cheesy Dill)
  • includes 50 smaller share bags with each Party Bag
• Instacake Gift Cards & Cake Fundraiser: Deadline by 2:30pm Nov.18 - money & orders
• Special cupcake packet, with or without a card, that can be mailed or just popped into an envelope and sent to or left for someone special. Students earn 40% profit.

• Cake kits with cards sell for $15 - student profit is $6
• Cake kits without a card sell for $10 - student profit is $4

Cake kits come with a baking box, measuring cup, spoon, cake mix, frosting and toppings – Birthday cakes also have a candle! The cake mixes are packaged in a peanut free facility and bake in a microwave

Fundscrip Gift Card fundraiser is ordered and paid online to avoid having our students carrying significant amounts of money! The online orders will close at 9pm Friday, Nov.27th 

• Gift Cards are for a wide variety of Manitoba businesses and retail chains
• Profits vary between 2-10% and are a percentage of the gift cards sold. Payment online must be done either as an electronic fund transfer (EFT) or online bill payment. If payment is made by credit card the service charges eat up the student profits.
• Your family & friends must register with Fundscrip first before making their purchases; they will be asked to provide a unique password of their own choosing. Please provide your supporters with the Invitation Code: JG7PV3
• OR Contact Mrs. Lubkey for a list of available stores and denominations. Friends and family can place their orders through you and pay you directly, and then you can conveniently purchase all the requested gift cards online at once.

#3 - Meat, Cheese & Perogy Fundraiser:  Feb 9 - 25 2026

These delicious items make great additions to your regular dinner selections.

• Naleway Catering- 2.2lb bags of Potato & cheddar perogies (~3 dozen)
  • Allergy Alert - Perogies do contain flour, soy and dairy 
• Bothwell Cheese - see the order form for a huge selection of cheeses and cheese bundles
• Springfield Meats - coarse or fine ground garlic coils and packages of pepperoni sticks

Order Forms will be available from Mrs. Lubkey in room 209W or you can download them to either print at home or send electronically to friends and family.

Delivery Date:  Mid march 2027

REMINDER:  Perogies are delivered frozen and the meat and cheese arrives chilled after lunch  BUT during the afternoon as its being sorted and waiting for pick up these items are sitting at room temperature.   

PLEASE arrange for pick up between 2:30 and 4pm from the Commons and to deliver immediately or take them straight home to be refrigerated/frozen.  We do not have fridge or freezer space to store them at school for you.

All orders with payment must be turned in to Mrs. Lubkey on or BEFORE April 15th - Deadline at 2:30pm. No late orders will be accepted.

REMINDER: Cookie Delivery Day is Mid May - tentatively Wednesday, May 13th.  Please ensure that you've made arrangements to pick up your orders between 2:30 & 4:00 pm in the Physics Room 209W.  We do not have freezer space to store them for you.

Remember - Cookies are FROZEN and need to stay that way!
