​​Please keep the following cold weather information on hand for quick reference regarding transportation/bussing and outdoor recess.

School Buses:  During the winter months, transportation services may be cancelled due to inclement weather and/or adverse road conditions.  School buses will not operate when the Environment Canada reading taking at the Forks is -45C or colder with the windchill (as of 6:00 am).  Parents will be responsible for making arrangements to get children to and from school.  If you think that weather conditions are such that there may be a cancellation, please listen to CJOB 680 or CBC 990 on the radio.

Sa mga buwan ng taglamig, ang mga serbisyong pang-transportasyon ay maaaring makansela dahil sa masamang panahon at/o hindi magandang kalagayan ng mga kalsada. Indoor Recess: Ecole James Nisbet School uses -27C or colder (Environment Canada taken from the Forks) as our guide for indoor recess.  We thank you for your support in dressing your child appropriately for our Winnipeg winter temperatures.  If your child is not well enough to go outside when the temperature is colder but above -27C, we ask that you please keep them home to rest.  We unfortunately do not have adequate supervision to keep individual children inside.
