Parents play an integral role in supporting their children at the school. Communication between the home and school helps ensure success for the students on a daily basis. Parents are encouraged to contact the school whenever they have a question or concern. Together we feel we can find a positive solution to any concern. Also, parents are the backbone of our volunteer component. From helping supervise fieldtrips, reading with children, or helping share a special talent, parent volunteers add to our school culture.

Parents also take an active role in the Parent Advisory Council. The Parent Council meets once a month to discuss and promote such things as school events for the family and school/community relations. It also serves in an advisory capacity to the school and acts as a liaison between the Seven Oaks School Board and other organizations. The Council is elected annually. All parents are welcome to serve on the Council as an Executive memberor to assist on one of the many committees.
