Welcome to École James Nisbet Community School 

At Ecole James Nisbet, the school expectations are founded on the acronym PEACE: Polite, Empathy, Acts of Kindness, Cooperation and Everyone Counts. Those values are lived each and every day by the entire James Nisbet family.

The values are heard in the shared, positive language that helps all students grasp the concepts behind the words. They are seen in the students’ interactions with one another and shared through the “Random Acts of Kindness” announcements made over the PA system. They also are shared with others outside the school when fundraising for Winnipeg Harvest and participating in activities such as the school’s Peace Symposium, which promotes friendship, acceptance of others and peace-making in everyday life. We believe in educating both the hearts and minds of our students.
