Volunteering can provide a valuable service to a community organization, provide learners with a sense of accomplishment and help to develop a number of personal skills that can be valuable in different aspects of life. A learner may earn one full credit in this course by successfully completing 110 hours of unpaid volunteer work with an approved organization; a course form will need to be completed by the volunteer host and the learner.
