Leila North's PE program offers an extensive array of activities that are available to all Leila Lions.
There is a well established intramural program which runs daily from 11:50 am to 12:40 pm. Students enjoy the opportunity to participate in sports like indoor soccer, volleyball, floor hockey, team handball, ultimate and flag football.
We have a very successful interschool program. Seven Oaks School Division prides itself on providing a place to play for all interested students. There are often two or more teams participating in age group competition within the division and the greater school community. We offer training and participation in cross country, volleyball, flag football, indoor track, basketball, badminton, outdoor track, soccer, softball and ultimate.
Students at Leila North have many opportunities to volunteer during the noon hour, before and after school and weekends. Interested students may participate in organizing events like the Terry Fox Run, Spirit Week and school sponsored tournaments. Other volunteer opportunities exist for scorekeeping and reffing, equipment organization, and fundraising through canteen, pizza and TCBY sales. These learning experiences encourage positive interactions with others, foster responsibility and the development of positive leadership skills.
Leila North students also have to opportunity to participate in the 7 Oaks Hockey Academy.
