The Finance Department is the responsibility of the Secretary-Treasurer, who provides leadership to the board, staff and community in the area of business and financial activities to enable the division to realize its mission statement, and conduct its operations in compliance with provincial legislation.
The objective of the Finance Department is to support the administrative and instructional needs of the Seven Oaks School Division, and develop and maintain policies and procedures in the areas of administration, facilities, and finance. Finance staff is responsible for the preparation and management of annual budgets, financial analysis and reporting, accounting operations, payroll and benefits administration, and providing financial support and training to schools and departments.
