The Public Budget Meeting was held on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Garden City Collegiate (Commons), 711 Jefferson Avenue. Members of the Public are invited to submit suggestions for the budget by e-mail to: communitybeginshere@7oaks.org  The Seven Oaks School Division's Special Levy will increase by an amount equal to the real growth in property assessment.  This means that any tax change in 2010 will be the result of tax shifts from commercial property to residential property or from rural property to urban property or as a result of improvements made to your property.  We have developed a Tax Calculator for residential and commercial properties in the City of Winnipeg to estimate 2010 net school taxes.  You will need to enter your 2009 and 2010 assessment values, which may be obtained from the link below, into the appropriate boxes in the tax calculator.
