Want to join the best self-perpetuating art party?

TASK is an improvisational event with a simple structure and easy to handle materials.

Students and adults will participate in art making, rule breaking and risk-taking within the 30 minute time slot.

The structure of the TASK party is as follows:

1. Grab a TASK from the TASK box.
   
2. Perform said TASK (i.e. make a hat and give it away, teach someone a dance you know, become your favourite character from a book)
3. Put that TASK back in the TASK box AND write out a new TASK to be performed by someone else.
4. Start again from #1.

The TASK tent will be filled with music and a designated area for various supplies (tape, cardboard, tinfoil, magazines, markers, pencils, etc.) for art making with the TASK format.

It is an exciting creative exercise in contemporary art process that allows students (and staff!) to make art in a fun and non-judgmental art environment (everyone is doing bizarre things so no one looks out of place). It allows for imaginative risk-taking and development of on the spot art making and 21st century learning.
