According to the Government of Canada, Canadians spend an average of $14,500 to cover a year of post-secondary expenses. That adds up to about $58,000 for a four-year program – and that’s no small investment.
At the Seven Oaks Education Foundation, we realize paying for post-secondary education and training can be a challenge. But we believe expanding knowledge is worth it.
In a recent Canadian census, more than 60 percent of people in the lowest earnings category did not have more than a high school education, while more than 60 percent of those in the top category had a post-secondary degree.
This fact doesn’t even take into account the social and personal riches earned while one gains greater knowledge and life experience. That’s why every dollar received by the Foundation goes to help a Seven Oaks student pursue further education.
Our students come from a wide range of cultures and socio economic backgrounds with different interests, strengths and potential. Every student excels in some way, whether in academics, athletics, technology, trades or the arts. You can be part of recognizing this excellence.
The Foundation raises funds to help students realize their post-secondary goals through scholarship opportunities and distributes these funds to facilitate learning for as many students as possible.
Our scholarships recognize students for their hard work, dedication and passion. Many rely on scholarships, bursaries and awards to make post-secondary learning a reality.
Your support will help make a dream come true.
