​In Seven Oaks we celebrate the diversity of our schools and community. There are over 20 different languages spoken by employees of the division and over 1500 students in our French Immersion Program for students is growing. We have 7 schools which provide French Immersion programing in a milieu or dual-track setting for over 1500 students from K-12.

We are reputed as an employer of choice for education grads and are looking for bilingual French educators to bring their passion and creativity to our team.

Seven Oaks teachers are able to work and live in French, create inclusive classroom communities and make a difference in their students’ lives.

We have a rich French heritage that allows residents and visitors alike an opportunity to connect with the language and customs of our francophone forefathers.

The historic St. Boniface neighbourhood – labled Winnipeg’s French Quarter – considers English a second language and houses the French-language Universite du Sainte-Boniface, many culturally influenced shops and restaurants and the annual Festival du Voyageur (a two-week tribute to French culture of today and yesteryear).
